School Values

We have chosen five core values that form the backbone of our school. These values support our vision and help our children to understand how Jesus wants us to live. These values were chosen in partnership with staff, children, parents, governors and the Church.

Do to others as you would have them do to you. - Luke 6:31

Be strong and courageous; do not be afraid, do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go. -Joshua 1:9

Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven. - Luke 6:37

I will give thanks to you Lord, with all my heart; I will tell of all your wonderful deeds. - Psalm 9:1

Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as Christ God forgave you. - Ephesians 4:32

Each half term we focus on one of our values to deepen our understanding. This term as we move toward Christmas, we will be focusing on Compassion and how we can show love toward others during Advent.

Weekly Reflection

This week we are thinking about the second week of advent, particularly focusing on Peace. We have thought about how the Bible tells us 'Blessed are the Peacemakers'.

The children have thought about how they can be peacemakers in the world in their everyday actions. We have praised Jesus by singing 'Make me a Channel of your Peace' - Click here to sing along!
