School Values
We have chosen five core values that form the backbone of our school. These values support our vision and help our children to understand how Jesus wants us to live. These values were chosen in partnership with staff, children, parents, governors and the Church.
Friendship
Do to others as you would have them do to you. - Luke 6:31
Trust
Be strong and courageous; do not be afraid, do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go. -Joshua 1:9
Forgiveness
Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven. - Luke 6:37
Gratitude
I will give thanks to you Lord, with all my heart; I will tell of all your wonderful deeds. - Psalm 9:1
Compassion
Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as Christ God forgave you. - Ephesians 4:32
Each half term we focus on one of our values to deepen our understanding.
In the second half of the Spring term, we will be focusing on Forgiveness.
This week we are thinking about Pentecost, and how Jesus sent the Holy Spirit to help the Disciples to spread the word of God. We have thought about how the Holy Spirit is with us every day, and how we can feel comforted by this when we are facing challenge.
We have praised God by singing Be Still.
