RE Explorers

The RE Explorers are a dedicated pupil leadership team who play an important role in shaping the spiritual and reflective life of our school community. Their responsibilities include gathering pupil voice to share thoughts and ideas on Religious Education (RE), collective worship, and Reflection. They take an active role in leading collective worship, helping to make it meaningful and inclusive for all. The RE Explorers also provide valuable feedback on RE teaching, supporting the Senior Leadership Team in making informed decisions to improve learning and worship experiences. As role models, they set a positive example for others and support their peers in understanding and engaging with RE across the school.

“As an RE explorer, I expect the best of myself. I always try to listen and be creative. I always remember that God is with me. I believe that the plan God has for me is a successful, meaningful life that is full of love, gratitude and prosperity. I enjoy being an RE explorer as I get to share the good news of God with others but I also enjoy learning and teaching others about different religions and cultures. It makes people feel important and less alone” - Aishani, Year 5

“What being an RE explorer means to me is that I can guide people to the correct path, like God guides me. I like to help others understand God and his plans for us all” – Frank, Year 4

“As an RE explorer, I get to complete fun activities in church which include reading from the Bible, support with worship and I get to create my own prayers. I also help others to learn about God and help them relate in their own way” - Arianna, Year 6

“I enjoy writing prayers and helping Miss Simpson in church” – Omar, Year 5
